was a fabulous base for trip. location: the hotel was close enough to columbus, mississippi, great restaurants and mississippi. the location was good and absolutely perfect, with harvey's nearby, where we could eat.

The location here is top-notch, right in the heart of the city. It's super convenient being so close to all the cool historical spots and downtown area. 🌟 All the best eating joints are just a stone's throw away!

I drove in blinding rain until I decided to pull over at 12:30 am. All I wanted was a good night's sleep. Got to my room, which was supposed to be non-smoking. It was labeled as non-smoking but reeked of smoke so terribly that we were coughing and our eyes were burning. Went to wash our faces before bed and found that we had no wash cloths! Called the desk to request some and was told we could come to the office to get some. But it was still pouring rain and we had the room farthest from the office! Then in the morning, we discovered that we had only 2 towels for 3 guests! We also found a half eaten candy bar and a partial bottle of water in our refrigerator! This was THE WORST hotel experience we've ever had and we'll steer very far away from this place from now on!

The staff was very friendly and professional from the front desk to the clean up crew.

It is pretty much no frills and could be updated. There was a odor in the room too.

A full breakfast was advertised, but there was only cold cereal. The juice machine was not working. There was no toast nor rolls nor fruit. It's not breakfast without juice!

The beds were actually quite comfortable and lots of hot water?

We requested a non smoking room - was told it was a non smoking room but when we arrived it did have an ash tray in the room and reaked of cigarettes. Major repairs needed in the room. We stayed during the MS State and TN Game so rates went up - paid a little more than you would normally for this type hotel.

The location is perfect and convenient, situated near all the dining options and the historic downtown area. There's a nice Cafe on Main nearby, where you can enjoy delicious desserts and more.

It was close to a sports event.

Locatiion seemed to be in a poor part of town. The ceiling in bathroom was falling down and stained. The doors were dirty. The corners behind bathroom door dirty with cobwebs. Bathroom very small, could barely turn around. Parking lot full of pot holes and needed redoing. There were 2 tables for continetal breakfast, which I did not eat. Ran my debit card before I came to charge the room to my account. Did not like this at all. Should have included taxes when I booked room. Could not understand the desk person over the phone. Only stayed because other motels were booked.

Enjoyed free coffee in the lobby, felt like a queen. the Lake Lowndes State Park was a hop away for some posh leisure time on the greens.

I loved the surprise workout from going up and down the dodgy stairs to my "handicap" room.

The room is spotless. The people are helpful. The location is particularly good, very close to all the eating places, Columbus, Mississippi, and great restaurants.

I had a great time staying at this place during an out-of-town trip; the double room we stayed in was equipped with amenities like a TV with satellite channels, climate control, and a microwave oven.

This venue had friendly staff and my stay was very enjoyable.
